Why colossus Private school?
Due to public school pressures to adapt learning to future careers and college platforms, students learning with technology are not learning how to use the technology given to them.
Surveying public school students and families in various counties across Florida, the majority of students entering high school are struggling due to their limited exposure and understanding of technology being used on an educational platform.
As a result, making setting the goal of post-secondary education, and setting the goal for a technology based career cumbersome and uninviting.
Colossus Private School will support those students that have limited to no computer knowledge, while also differentiating curriculum to support the tech eager student that needs the education and foundation to pursue a career in technology, science, engineering or math.

Certified Instructors
All of our teachers at Colossus Private School meet one or more of the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Three or more years of K-12th grade teaching experience
- Special skills, knowledge, or expertise that qualifies them to provide instruction in K-12th grade subjects
How COLOSSUS CURRICULUM WORKS
Colossus offers a rigorous tech infused curriculum that will prepare students for successful standards-based learning in other public and private school settings.
Students who successfully complete the Colossus 6th-9th grade curriculum will enter the 10th grade with all of the following:

- Digital Device - Microsoft supported laptop to keep!
- Business Entrepreneurship Mentorship and Professional Certification

Colossus private School Foundation
Experiences from over a decade of educating and creating curriculum for Public Schools our owner began a mentoring not for profit out of her classroom experiences to meet the needs of her students and parents in the community.
After spending over a decade attempting to create a technologically advanced classroom that lacked the support of a distressed public school system, the Founder of Colossus Private School decided to start a school that would support the millennial fusion of technology into education. Her goal is to ignite a passion for technology while providing a foundation of real-world education that supports a future career in Tech/STEM based.
